Dr. Hamid Saranjam is a dedicated orthodontist committed to delivering personalized, high-quality care in a welcoming and patient-focused environment.
He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, graduating magna cum laude. Dr. Saranjam then earned his dental degree and completed his orthodontic specialty training at Howard University, an internationally recognized institution, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class and received multiple academic honors, awards and scholarships.
Following his training, Dr. Saranjam practiced as an associate orthodontist in Salisbury, Maryland, under the mentorship of his colleague and life-time friend, Dr. James Crouse. During this time, he gained further extensive experience in advanced orthodontic techniques and was part of a practice recognized among the top 1% of Invisalign providers in North America.
In 2019, Dr. Saranjam returned to the Washington, DC area to establish his own practice, Farragut Family Orthodontics, in the heart of downtown Washington, DC. His practice is focused on delivering exceptional patient experiences with an emphasis on precision, attention to detail, and long-term results.
Originally from Iran, Dr. Saranjam immigrated to the United States with his family in 2007. He is fluent in Farsi and has a deep appreciation for Persian heritage, art, and culture, including poetry and calligraphy.
Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two beautiful children, traveling, reading, listening to music, and playing soccer.
